Bio: Sean Paterson (UNBC Economics 2002) is a Chief Technical Advisor for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization’s Somalia programme. His professional focus is post-conflict recovery and he works on programmes that provide technical assistance aimed at the recovery of livelihoods affected by conflict/instability. For the last 10 years Sean has been involved in the design, development, implementation, and close out of projects in some of the most challenging operating environments in West Africa, Sudan, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan, and Somalia. After completing his degree at UNBC, he continued his studies at the London School of Economics and graduated with a MSc. in Development Management.
