Digital Boost
Empowering future innovators with practical digital skills
In partnership with RoboGarden, and in collaboration with Riipen, UNBC Continuing Studies is excited to offer the Digital Boost Program. This innovative initiative aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application by providing students with hands-on experience in digital technologies and practical skills development.
RoboGarden Bootcamps are designed to equip students with the necessary skills required in today’s tech-driven world. The Digital Boost Program is designed to help students gain experience in real-world scenarios. Through the partnership with Riipen, participants will engage in real projects, collaborate with industry experts, and receive mentorship to enhance their learning journey.
Riipen is a leading platform connecting students with companies around the globe. Digital Boost participants gain valuable industry experience, work on meaningful projects, and build a professional network that will support their career growth.
With the support of the Canadian Federal Government via the Innovative Work-Integrated Learning (I-WIL) Initiatives program, participants who select and complete their project following the RoboGarden Bootcamp will receive a $1,400 stipend from I-WIL. This serves to both compensate them for their time to complete the project and demonstrate the income-generating potential of the career progression steps they have undertaken.
