Description

Organizations are under pressure to respond rapidly to change, meet customer needs and maximize resources. Project Managers help organizations meet these challenges by establishing consistent, repeatable methodologies that reduce risk, cut waste and provide a competitive advantage.

Program description

New in 2021, UNBC Continuing Studies has partnered with Global Knowledge to provide our students and business clients with a range of Project Management training opportunities, combining theory and best practices with hands-on, real-world exercises.

Take the Core Certificate and develop Project Management (PM) knowledge and expertise along with a cohort of your peers.

To go further, or if you already have sufficient experience, select Electives that increase your skills and knowledge in the PM topics that you need. Complete both the Core Certificate and at least two Electives to earn your Associate Certificate in Project Management.

Training follows the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), by the Project Management Institute (PMI), and is taught by experienced PMP®-certified instructors.

These courses qualify for PMI Professional Development Units and cover topics required to take the PMP® certification exam. After completing the PM training at UNBC, you can choose to take the exam directly through PMI

These courses are available in an online Virtual Delivery model.
