Colour Theory for Digital Design

Description

In Colour Theory for Digital Design students explore the effective use of colour as a digital design element. Topics include the physiology of vision, perceptual psychologies, ethnography, colour interactions, colour bias, value, saturation, temperature, and calibration. Students in this course learn through projects, group discussion, demonstrations, presentations, and critique.

Information acquired in this course helps students to use colour appropriately and effectively when determining visual outcomes for online and print production. Students should have access to Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software to complete course assignments.

This course is offered in partnership with OCAD University to offer a wide range of courses for enhancing your career expertise in web, design, photography, analytics, and technology.
