Business Communications provides basic skills in written and oral business communication. It also covers how to effectively organize and deliver written and orally presented business reports.

Topics include communication skills, identifying your personal communication style, understanding individuals’ differences and similarities, and improving the business-writing process including e-mails, memos, letters, and other daily writing.

Price includes a Personality Dimension Assessment, to be completed before the course then discussed in class.

Duration: Three, 4-hour sessions

Business Communications is offered as a stand-alone course during Professional Development Skills Week and as a module in the Administrative Assistant Professional Certificate.

Course Requirements

Students must have a computer with webcam in order to attend class and participate in exercises and knowledge checks.
