Graduate application intakes and deadlines

Application deadlines are subject to change and all intakes are updated in the spring of each year.

Program application intakes and deadlines

About our deadlines

Please be aware that some of our graduate programs are no longer offering Winter/Spring Intakes.  The offerings as listed below have been updated to reflect these changes.

First deadline

All programs have a deadline or first deadline listed. The first deadline is the date by which your application must be submitted to be guaranteed consideration for admission and are included in entrance award allocation decisions if eligible. We highly encourage application by the first deadline (especially for international applicants).

Second deadline

Some programs have a second deadline for domestic (Canadian) and international applicants. Some programs may only offer a second deadline for domestic/Canadian applicants. For these programs, applications are extended to the published date. Applications submitted during this period may not be eligible for award consideration. In addition, programs reserve the right to close the second deadline earlier if the program fills. Not all programs have a second deadline.

Before you submit an application, ensure you have reviewed our application instructions and program-specific instructions.

If you are unable to locate the graduate program you wish to apply into in the online application menu, applications have been closed or that program does not have an intake during that semester (see below). If you do have further questions about available programs, contact UNBC Future Graduate Students.
