Brownridge Court receives 2024 sport floor of the year award

The UNBC Timberwolves in partnership with the University of Northern British Columbia and Titan Sport Systems are honoured to announce that the newly designed Brownridge Court has received the Sport Floor of the Year Award courtesy of Treeco Distribution and Bona Sport.

Voices of justice and memory in Guatemala

A field school in Guatemala led by Geography Professor Dr. Catherine Nolin examined human rights violations, historical memory and Canada’s role in global justice. The experience resulted in an academic paper and a StoryMap amplifying the voices of Guatemalan people.

10th Annual Timberwolves Legacy Night raises $230,000

The 10th Annual UNBC Timberwolves Legacy Night raised a record-breaking $230,000 to support student-athlete scholarships and bursaries. The event brought together more than 500 supporters to celebrate and empower student-athletes while fostering leadership and opportunity.

Restoring watersheds and salmon habitats post-wildfire

A multi-party initiative led by the Skeetchestn Indian Band, supported by UNBC and other partners, is restoring the Deadman River and studying innovative, culturally-informed strategies to mitigate the impacts of severe wildfires on watersheds and salmon habitats.
