UNBC To Host National Basketball Championship in Prince George

CN to be Title Sponsor for CCAA Men's Nationals

UNBC Athletics is proud to announce CN as the title sponsor for the 2009 Canadian Colleges’ Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s National Basketball Championship. From March 20 to 22, the host team UNBC Northern Timberwolves will welcome the best college basketball teams in the country to the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre in Prince George.

The CN 2009 CCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship features the Timberwolves, five conference champions and two wild-card entries in the three-day tournament. The CN CCAA All-Canadian Awards Banquet will be held prior to the tournament on March 19 at the Ramada Hotel in downtown Prince George.

CN employs almost 500 people in Northern British Columbia and nearly 2,100 in British Columbia.
