UNBC Offers Program for Aboriginal Social Workers

The University of Northern British Columbia is partnering with the Ministry of Children and Family Development and Carrier Sekani Family Services to provide aboriginal social workers with the opportunity gain a specialization in child welfare.
The Government of BC reports that aboriginal children make up 76% of the northern children in the care of the Ministry.
