Darren Ditto (BSc 2000) & Robin Cawood (BSc 2000), both graduates of Correlieu Secondary School in Quesnel, have joined five other graduates from the University of Northern British Columbia in a Prince George-owned software development firm, Miller Software Consulting.

Founded in 1998 by UNBC grad Daniel Miller, Miller Software Consulting provides software development and consulting services to a broad range of companies in information technology, natural resources, manufacturing, telecommunications, and education. Their team of UNBC grads, all of whom are from north-central BC, are analysts, developers, and consultants who have completed over 120 unique software projects for more than 40 different organizations such as Forest Renewal BC, Canfor, UNBC, Prince George Art Gallery and the Prince George Crisis Intervention Centre.

Darren Ditto, Correlieu graduate and Miller Software Consulting Partner, says "High-tech can, and is, doing well in the North and my degree from the University of Northern British Columbia was perfect preparation for the work we're doing at Miller Software Consulting".
"I'm pleased to be offering a world class high-tech software company in Northern British Columbia and to be employing top-notch UNBC graduates who are familiar with the northern needs associated with high-tech development" says Daniel Miller, owner of Miller Software Consulting.
Computer Science is one of UNBC's most popular programs and offers courses in artificial intelligence, software engineering, programming and computer architecture.
