UNBC Northern Timberwolves Home Opener: November 10

The University of Northern British Columbia's varsity basketball teams are kicking off their 2000-2001 season this weekend in Vancouver with games against Capilano College tonight and Langara College tomorrow. The home opener for the Northern Timberwolves will be next weekend, when UNBC hosts Kwantlen University College on November 10th and Douglas College on the 11th. All home games will be played at CNC.

Media Lunch with the Northern Timberwolves
Conference Centre Room 6-205 (across from the Canfor Theatre)
In advance of the first home games, the University will be hosting
an informal lunch for the local sports media to meet the Northern Timberwolves
athletes and the team coaches. At the event, the media will be provided
with schedules, player/coach headshots, and information about the athletics
website. Lunch will be provided.
