The University of Northern British Columbia and Health Canada are co-presenting a National Summit on Rural Health Research October 23-25 in Prince George. Note that the welcome and plenary sessions are open to the media and a news conference is scheduled for Monday afternoon:

Saturday, October 25th     Prince George Civic Centre Identifying the Needs and Questions in Rural Health Research
11am - noon	Delegate welcome from UNBC President Charles Jago and Summit Co-Chairs John Wootton and Max Blouw.
7:30pm	Dinner and keynote speaker: Brian Saylor, Director of Circumpolar Health Studies at the University of Alaska
Sunday, October 24th     Ramada Hotel Addressing the Research Needs and Questions
8:30am - noon	Plenary session reporting from break-out groups
12:30pm	Lunch speaker: Scott Nichols, Inuit Tapirisat of Canada
3:30 - 4:30pm	Plenary session. Speaker: Jim Dosman, University of Saskatchewan
